He gives different techniques and tips on how to market on social media. Duncan conveys that the main focus is to connect, help and give our audience good customer service via web. Tip #1, is to promote ourselves by using the “mullet” idea, meaning show our audience our profile page with business in the front and party in the back. Tip #2, when it comes to tagging, don’t do it. Tip #3, when using ads, use strategy. Only 8% of your followers see your ads, unless you promote it. Use ads with engagement tests, meaning start small and see the response and reaction, then you can start to promote more to grow your audience. Tip #4, when it comes to followers and likes on posts, never “buy friends.” It just creates false results of impaction and who your audience really is. Tip #5, promote your promotions.
